2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
1 pint of heavy cream
1/4 onion diced
5 slices of American yellow cheese
4 oz Parmesan cheese grated
3 oz of vodka
12 oz tomato puree
salt pepper to taste
Directions:
Directions:
1) Boil water to cook 1 lb of penne...don't forget to salt water. cook 6-7 min...drain and set aside.
2) Saute butter with onions till butter turns golden brown. Add vodka (close flame as you add vodka),
turn back on; let alcohol evaporate for 30 seconds.
3) Add the rest of ingredients. Bring to a simmer. Add cooked pasta and cook for 5 mins. stirring occasionally. Check pasta, every brand cooks differently, you don't want to over cook it.
4) To make Bolognese Sauce... add 1/2 lb browned chopped beef to vodka sauce and then add pasta to finish cooking.
