5 biscuits
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. milk (or enough to cover all)
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
1/2 stick butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Butter bottom & sides of casserole dish. In mixing bowl, crumble cooked biscuits & pour some milk over to cover. Let set 2-3 minutes to absorb milk & soften bread. Mix together all other ingredients and pour over bread. Knead with hand to mix. Pour into prepared casserole dish. Bake for 40-45 minutes, until firm. Serve hot or cold. Don't worry about storing left-overs, there won't be any.

This has always been a family favorite. This is her recipe that was featured in the "Food" section of the Macon Telegraph. Once Mama left the sugar out of this recipe, which was told and retold on her. Mama always used a glass backing dish for Biscuit Pudding and her Dressing. It made both have more "crust", which we all loved.
