1 1/2 c. coarse pickling salt
10 qts. water
Enough fresh corn on the cob to fill up crock pot
20 qt. crock pot

Directions:
Directions:
Boil fresh corn on the cob till almost done. Drain off excess water and place corn in glass container such as the giant pickle jar or 20 qt crock pot. Add pickling salt to the 10 quarts of water stirring until salt is dissolved, pour over corn to cover fully. Place a small dish or plate on corn to keep under brine. Cover with cloth. Set in a cool place until corn is pickled and used. Remove corn as needed. Skim scum off as it forms.
