500 g macaroni or other pasta
4 tbsp butter
4 tbsp all-purpose flour
salt and pepper
1-2 tsp dried mustard
2 cups milk
1 - 1 1/2 cups grated cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook macaroni in boiling water according to directions on package. Drain.

Meanwhile, in medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour, salt and pepper to taste, and dried mustard. Let it bubble, stirring, for about 1 minute.

Add the milk slowly, stirring. Stir over medium-high heat until mixture boils and thickens. Stir in the cheese.

Pour the cheese sauce over the drained pasta and mix.

This recipe is for Michael when he has to cook for himself. The number of servings this makes depends a lot on whether Michael is one of those eating or not!
