5-6 lb brisket
32 oz. apricot preserve
1 box Goodman's onion soup mix
20 oz bottle Diet Coke

Directions:
Directions:
Place brisket in oven proof dish.
Spread preserve over brisket.
Sprinkle onion soup mix over preserve.
Pour the diet coke over and around the meat.
Cook covered at 350 degrees for 2 hours.
Uncover and cook for an additional 1/2 hour.
Allow to cool, remove meat, slice and return into the cooking dish into the gravy. Reheat and serve.
