3 cup maple syrup
1 lb butter (cold cubes)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat syrup to a simmer and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Place syrup into blender, turn on blender and slowly add butter(one cube at a time) until butter is totally incorporated. Butter must be cold or sauce will separate. Keep at room temperature and should pour like warm honey.
Grill salmon. Do not remove skin. Brush flesh side with sauce and season with salt and pepper. Place on well oiled grill and medium heat. Cook for 4 minutes on flesh side and 4 minutes on skin side.
