Ingredients:  
1 1/4 cup white flour
3/4 tsp soda
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening and brown sugar, add egg, milk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and oatmeal.
Form into balls and bake @ 350º for 8 to 10 minutes. When taken out of oven put a square of chocolate from a Hershey candy bar on top of each cookie.
