13 1/2 c. distilled water
3/4 c. canning salt
1 c. vinegar
2 heads of dill
cucumbers
1 tsp. pickling spices
garlic clove
1 tsp. sugar
pinch alum, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Boil water and salt. Add vinegar. Add to each quart the remaining ingredients. Pour boiling water over all and seal. Let sit 7 days.
