1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
2 lg. eggs
salt to taste
sugar to taste
1 c. buttermilk, more or less

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together and put in a greased heated black cast iron skillet or greased pan. Bake at 350 º till center is not shiny. You must watch closely. Then put under broiler till lightly brown.
