2 lg. apples, or other fruit, sliced
1/2 c. margarine
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar, sprinkle over fruit

Directions:
Directions:
Cover bottom of a 9-inch pie plate with favorite fruit. Sprinkle 1/2 c. of sugar over fruit, stir to coat fruit, set aside. In a saucepan over low heat melt margarine and stir in remaining ingredients. Pour batter over the fruit and spread evenly. Bake for 40 minutes at 350º. Serve warm with your favorite ice cream.
