1 3/4 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup butter or substitute, softened
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup ripe bananas (2-3 bananas)

Directions:
Directions:
1) Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
2) Blend butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3) Add eggs and beat well.
4) Slowly add flour mixture alternating with bananas, beating smooth after each addition.
5) Turn into greased 9"X5"X3" loaf pan.
6) Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Makes one loaf.
Add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts if desired.
