1 lb beef liver
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup butter
1 medium onion, sliced
1 365 ml can tomatoes
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp worcestershire
1/4 tsp dried basil
1/8 tsp pepper
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare all the ingredients before getting started.
Cut liver into 1/2 inch strips and coat lightly with flour. Melt butter in frying pan; add liver and brown quickly on both sides. Add onion and fry gently until tender. Stir in tomatoes, sugar, salt, Worcestershire, salt & pepper. Cover and simmer gently about 15 minutes. Add cheese and stir until melted. Serve over rice.
