Personal Notes:
I got this recipe from Lodeama Budinger my mother-in-law. She used to make this little hard cookie every year for Christmas. Once she sent me some in a Christmas package. I was so excited I ate too many and now I know first hand where the saying "I tossed my cookies" came from. My husband and my son-in-law have both made these cookies and they taste great. We will keep the tradition alive in Dede's memory.
