2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp shortening
1 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together and take pieces of dough, roll "finger thick strips" any length.
Boil 3 or 4 cubed potatoes in large pot. Cut strips of dough with scissors into boiling potatoes. Boil about 2 minutes. Drain. In frying pan, melt 1/4lb margarine and coarse bread crumbs (cubes). Brown and pour over potatoes and dumplings. Serve as a main dish with salad & whatever.
