To 1/3 cup oil add enough applesauce to make 3/4 cup.
1 egg
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup molasses

mix well
add 2 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnimon
Chill at least 2 hours
Roll in balls, roll in sugar place on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake 350 for 10 mins
They will stay soft If put in a tupperware container.
