4 Potato's - medium sized and cubed
1 tsp. Salt
1 Onion - sliced
1 tsp. Celery salt
2 tbsp. Lard
2 tbsp. Flour
2 tbsp. Sour Cream
1 Bay Leaf
1 Carrot - sliced fine
1 Celery - sliced fine
Parsley
1 tsp. Paprika
1 c. Milk
Water

Directions:
Directions:
Place potato's in a large pot, cover with water; add salt and bring to a boil. Add the onion, celery salt, bay leaf, carrot and celery and cook on medium for 45 minutes. Sprinkle parsley over soup. To thicken soup: melt the lard or bacon grease and add a small amount of sliced onion and paprika. Add flour to make paste. Add this paste mixture to the soup. then add milk and sour cream. Season to taste
