1st Layer:
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
2nd Layer:
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. Cool Whip
3rd Layer:
2 boxes instant pudding, any flavor
3 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ingredients for 1st layer and spread evenly in a 9 X 13 inch baking pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Let cool.
Combine ingredients for 2nd layer. Spread over cooled crust layer.
Mix pudding and milk. Pour over cream cheese layer.
Let set for a few minutes and top with Cool Whip.

Chocolate is a personal favorite. I shave chocolate over the top Cool Whip layer.
My mother uses vanilla pudding and instead of topping it with Cool Whip, she uses cherry or strawberry pie filling.
