1 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Melt 1 cup butter, stir in the brown sugar and vanilla.
Mix flour and baking powder together and add to mixture. Shape into small acorns. Kind of looks like the top of a dairy queen ice cream cone.
Bake in low oven 300º for 15 to 18 minutes.Cool cookies, completely before coating.
Melt 24 caramel squares and add 1/4 cup water.
Cool a little then dip bottom of cookie into caramel about 1/3" up on cookie, next roll bottom edge in chopped pecans.
Cool on wax paper or cookie sheet.

Perfect for Thanksgiving and they are a family request. Make sure the caramel shows above the pecans, the caramel and nuts makes it fatter on the bottom of the cookie to make it look like an acorn. Something easy to make with the grandchildren.
