Directions:
Beat condensed milk, butter, eggs and extract in a large bowl with an electric mixer until smooth. Add dry ingredients until combined. Divide dough into thirds. Wrap and chill dough for 2 hours. Roll out one portion of dough on lightly floured surface to 1/8" thickness. Cut out desired shapes with floured cookie cutters. Reroll to use all dough. Place cookies 1" apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350º for 9-11 min. or until very lightly browned around edges (do not overbake). Cool. For glaze, combine powdered sugar and extract. Stir in milk until you reach desired spreading consistency. Add food coloring, if desired. Decorate cookies.

Personal Notes:
I have fond memories of making these with my nephew & nieces. It was one of our favorite things to do together. They are now teens and tweens, & still enjoy it - as do my sons. These cookies are beautiful & delicious!
