1 lb. lump crab meat
1 stick of butter
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
1/2 small onion, finely chopped
1 dash of tabasco sauce
1 dash of garlic salt

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and cream cheese together in the top of a double boiler. It will look kind of curdled, but that's okay. Once the mixture is heated through, add onion, crab, tabasco and garlic salt. As you stir these ingredients in, the dip will smooth out.
Serve with crackers or a sliced baguette.
