11/2 tbsp. unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup cold water
1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
2 cup boiling water
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 cup finely shredded cabbage
2 cup, diced celery
2 pimientos, diced, or 1/4 cup dices sweet red or green pepper
1/2 cup thinly sliced radishes
Crisp, washed lettuce leaves for the dressing:
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup half and half

Directions:
Directions:
Soak gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes. Add vinegar, lemon juice, boiling water, sugar and salt. Stir to dissolve sugar, salt and gelatin. Cool in refrigerator or set bowl over ice. When mixture is consistency of egg white, add cabbage, celery, pimientos or peppers, and radishes. Turn into a 5 cup ring mold rinsed in cold water. Chill overnight. Unmold on a bed of lettuce leaves. Blend mayonnaise and half and half until smooth. Serve in side dish to pour over salad.
