1 lb. bulk Italian sausage
1 c chopped onions
1 c chopped carrots
1 stalk celery -- chopped
8 c chicken broth (1 large. can +1sm. can = 8 cups
1 141/2 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 clove garlic-- minced
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp rosemary
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp thyme
1 bay leaf
1/4 c orzo

Cook sausage until no longer pink, drain if necessary. Add remaining ingredients, Bring to a
boil then simmer for 45 min.to 1 hr.Top with grated Parmesan cheese.

For a hardier soup use 1 1/2 lbs. of sausage
