Lightly crush one 1 1/2-inch cinnamon stick, 4 cardamon pods, 5 peppercorns and 3 cloves.
3 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 cups milk
3 tbsp. Darjeeling loose tea or
5 tea bags
Sugar or honey to taste

Combine water and milk in sausepan. Bring to a boil and add the tea leaves or bags. Turn off heat and cover for 5 minutes. Strain and add sugar to taste.
