7 cups potatoes, shredded
1 cup milk
5 cups flour more or less
1 tsp salt
1 T baking powder

small steak pieces, or tiny meatballs or precooked chopped bacon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 5 ingredients well. Pinch off small pieces of dough in palm of your hand.Place meat in middle and seal it. In a large pot, bring water to boil. Add dumplings and cook, Probably takes 1 - 1 1/2 hours. When done, slice on plate, add butter,salt and pepper. Enjoy. Next day, slice leftover's and fry in some milk until milk is thickened. Add more butter and salt and pepper.
