"The tradition of Italian cooking is that of the matriarch. This is the cooking of grandma. She didn't waste time thinking too much about the celery. She got the best celery she could and then she dealt with it."--Mario Batali

2 cans tomato sauce
2 cans tomato paste
2 cans tomatoes (I use Hunt's Diced with Basil, Garlic and Oregano)
1 can Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies
1 package fresh mushrooms
1 beef bouillon cube
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp parmesan cheese
1 tsp oregano, basil, parsley, chives
chopped onion and garlic
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
I brown the onion, garlic, mushrooms and hamburger and drain off fat. Then add the cans of sauce, paste, tomatoes and rotel. Next I add the sugar, Parmesan and spices. I let it cook for an hour or so and usually serve it the next day. This makes a lot.. you can cut the cans in half if you don't want a lot of leftovers.
