Ingredients:
3 eggs, beaten,
1 cup white corn syrup,
1 cup dark brown sugar,
1/3 cup melted butter,
1 teaspoon vanilla,
1 heaping cup pecan halves,
9-inch deep-dish unbaked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs. Add remaining ingredients except pecans and crust. Spray baking dish with Pam before adding pie crust. Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle pecans over filling. (I like to use large unbroken pecans and line them in circles all the way to the center for a fancy appearance) Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. After approx. 30 minutes, melt 1 tablespoon butter and brush on the crust of the pie shell. Try to do this without removing pie from oven. Mixture will still be somewhat liquid. Bake remaining 15 minutes. Cool for one hour before serving.
