Apple Pecan Cake

1 can apple pie filling*
1 small box Jiffy brand yellow cake mix **
1 stick butter
1 small pkg pecan bits

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Melt butter in microwave. Empty can of pie filling into an oblong brownie style pan (glass pyrex dish works too) and spread evenly. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over apple filling and do the same with the pecans. Pour melted butter over the top and place in the oven. Bake for about 30 minutes or until it is golden brown on top. Serve alone or with ice cream.

* You can substitute any fruit pie filling you like (same goes for the nuts).

** Jiffy cake mix is hard to find. I have had luck at Winn Co. The yellow cake mix is better but the white mix will do in a pinch. I have tried this cake with other box mixes and it is not as good.
