3 quarts bread (cut in cubes) day old bread
1 to 1 1/2 cups celery chopped
3/4 cup butter
1 to 1 1/2 cups onions chopped
4 T parsley chopped
2 t salt
1 t sage
1/4 t pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, add onion and celery, cook slowly until tender. Sprinkle other ingredients to bread and mix. Add butter mixture and mix. Stuff into turkey gingerly, and do not over stuff. Roast Turkey according to directions.

My fondest memory of Thanksgiving was Nana making the stuffing on Wednesday night. I loved sampling the stuffing before it went in the bird. This is an easy recipe that you can adjust easily. I think you might add a little more sage and make sure you keep it fairly dry. It will moisten as it cooks in the bird. ( also, white basic Wonder type bread works great...but make sure it is day old)
