Personal Notes:
When we would come in from school there would sometimes be a note from Mom about getting dinner started. Rule of the house was that we would sit down between 5:15 and 5:30 for dinner. Along with the meatlaof we would wash and oil six baking potatoes and pick out a vegetable.
At the table we would scoop out our potato, adding the standard ingredients for a baked potato, then we would add those same fixin's to the potato skin and eat them along with the meal. We Hand's had mastered Stuffed Potao Skins way before TGIF'S was ever thought of.
Another plus to meatloaf night was we knew we would have meatloaf sandwiches in our lunches the next day.
