1 package of Oreo cookies, crushed
1 container of Cool Whip, thawed
1 can of Hershey's chocolate syrup
1/2 gallon of vanilla ice cream
1/3 cup of melted butter
Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter and oreos crumbs. Reserve 1/2 cup of crumbs. Spread the rest of the crumbs into the bottom of a 9X13 pan. Spread the ice cream over the oreos. Pour the syrup over the ice cream. Spread the cool whip over the syrup. Sprinkle the reserved crumbs over the cool whip. Freeze.

When my Dad was a boy, my mom-mom made this ice cream cake for his birthday. It was my Dad's favorite. Now it is my favorite and my mom makes it for me!
