"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

3 egg yolks beaten,
1 cup lukewarm milk, scalded and cooled

Directions:
Add flour, salt and sugar to large bowl. Cut in butter until mixture looks like meal. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add to flour mixture with egg yolks and cooled milk. Beat well (I usually will knead dough for a few minutes). Cover and chill overnight.

Roll out dough. Spread melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon on dough. Roll up jelly-roll fashion, slice, and let rise at least one hour. Will make a 9x13 pan (greased) or two 9” round pans.

Bake 25 minutes at 325. Frost.
