1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp. salt
2 packages yeast
2 cups water
8 cups sifted flour

Cream margarine and sugar add eggs and salt. Sprinkle yeast over warm water, stir to blend. Add dissolved yeast with remaining water and flour to creamed mixture. Knead until smooth. Place in greased bowl and let rise until doubled.Turn out on floured surface.Roll to 1/4 inch thick and cut into strips or circles. Let rise one hour.Fry in deep fat at 375.Drain on paper towels
