1 loaf bread (day old is OK)
1/2 c. raisins
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
4 eggs
3 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 c. sugar
Butter as wanted


Directions:
Directions:
Tear bread into pieces one to two inches put into 13x9 pan. Whisk together ingredients. Pour over bread. Gently push bread down until covered. Butter pieces around top. Bread may mushroom over the top and be springy, but its OK. Place in oven at 350* for an hour. Brown on top.

This is for a large pan 13x9. If using 8x9 half the recipe. The measurements of ingredients are my own pinches or handfuls, so you may want to play with the amounts to your liking. I have been using a glass casserole dish, seems to work well. Have Fun Making.
