2 packages yeast
1 1/4 cup boiling water
1 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup molasses
1/3 cup shortening
1 tsp salt
6 cups flour
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Combine oats and boiling water, add molasses, shortening and salt. Cool to luke warm. Add 1/3 of flour and beat, add eggs and yeast and beat. Continue adding flour to make a soft dough. Let dough rise 10 minutes. Then knead on a floured board 20 minutes. Let rise until double in size. Shape into 2 loaves. Place into greased bread pans. Let rise.
Bake at 375 degrees 35 - 40 minutes.
