1-1/2 cups butter
1-1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup milk
2 cups flour
1 tbs. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, and eggs. Beat until light and fluffy. Mix all dry ingredients in a separate bowl, add alternately
with the milk. Pour into a greased 9 X 13 pan. Bake at 350 º for 30 minutes or longer, check it like a cake. Serve with honey butter.
