Ingredients:
1 recipe of Debbies Quick Rolls
Oil for frying

Directions:
Directions:
After making 1 recipe of Debbies Quick Rolls, let rise, punch down. Pinch off golf ball size pieces of dough. Pinch together the middle of each ball of dough as if you were making it into a doughnut shape. Fill a 3 qt saucepan with 3" of oil. Heat oil. Fry, turning once, until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve warm with honey butter.

Personal Notes:
I don't use a thermometer. You want the oil to bubble when you lay the dough in, not so hot it bubbles and spits like mad, just so it bubbles gently. If it cooks too hot, the center will be raw and the outside too dark. Break the first one in half, if it is raw, re-fry the halves, but turn the heat down a little....sounds technical, but it's not! Very much worth the effort, as it is a real treat! We serve it with BBQ Ribs and there are no leftovers. Figure 2 or 3 per person.
