2 cups raisins
1 cup water
2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs beaten
4 cups flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Boil water and raisins for 5 minutes, then cool. Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix in dry ingredients. Will look dry , keep mixing.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
