3 cup Swans down cake flour or all purpose flour
*Do not use self-rising flour in recipe
2 3/4 cup sugar
3 sticks butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavor
5 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º, Grease and flour bundt cake pan or tube pan. Beat sugar, flour, butter, vanilla, and eggs on high speed for 30 seconds, scraping bowl occasionally, for 5 min. Beat in flour, baking powder and alternating with milk on high speed. Pour into pan. Bake for 60 to 70 min until wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool 20 min and remove from pan.
