2 doz. lg. fresh shucked oysters on the half shell
1 lb. unsalted butter
2 T. fresh lemon juice
1 T. Lea & Perrins Worchestershire sauce
2 bunches green onions, chopped
2 T. minced garlic
1 tsp. crushed red pepper
3 T. chopped thyme
3 T. chopped oregano
2 T. Creole seasoning
2 oz. white wine
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 loaf of French bread

Directions:
Directions:
Melt 1/2 the butter in sauce pan. Add lemon juice, L&P, green onions, herbs & seasoning. Cook 2-3 min. and add wine. Stir frequently until onions wilt, remove from heat and let cool 3-4 min. Add remainder of butter & stir until melted. Heat grill to 350. Place oysters on grill. When the oyster liquor begins to bubble, add 1 T. of sauce on top of each oyster. Top with Parmesan cheese & melt. When oysters begin to brown on edges remove from grill. Top each oyster with additional sauce and serve immediately with French bread for sopping.
