1/2 C butter
1 1/2 C sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 C sour cream
2 Tsp. Baking Soda
1 Tsp. Vanilla (real vanilla is best)
3 Bananas (overripe), mashed
1/2 Tsp. Salt
2 1/2 C. Flour
1 C. Pecans or Walnuts, chopped (Save a few nuts to sprinkle on top of bread)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, sugar, and eggs. Mix sour cream and baking soda together in separate bowl and let stand until foamy. Add the sour cream mixture, vanilla and bananas to the butter, sugar and eggs and mix well. Place in 2 well greased and floured 9 x 5 bread pans and bake 50 minutes at 350º or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
