Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups long grain white rice
1/4 cup canola oil
2 T. dried onion
3 cloves of garlic, minced
3/4 cup tomato puree
2 tsp. sea salt
2 3/4 cup of chicken broth
3/4 cup frozen peas

Directions:
Directions:
Add the oil to a frying pan to medium high heat. Add the rice and saute until golden brown (approx. 10-15 min.) Then add onion. Add the minced garlic and saute for 3 minutes. I turn the heat down a bit because it starts to brown too fast. Add the tomato puree, chicken broth, and salt. Increase heat and bring to a full boil and boil for 2 minutes. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. When it's done, remove from heat and stir in peas. Replace lid and wait 5 minutes before serving.
