5 cups old-fashioned oats
4 sticks butter, softened
2 cups packed brown sugar
2 cups sugar
4 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
2 12-oz. pkgs. Chocolate chips
1 8-oz. grated Hershey bar
3 cups chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Blend oats in blender to a fine powder. Mix butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. In another bowl, combine oatmeal powder, flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add to butter mixture. Beat until just blended. Stir in chocolate chips, grated chocolate and nuts. Drop on cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes at 350 / 375.
Yields: 9 dozen cookies
