1 small onion chopped
1 C. water
Allspice
Salt
Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook pork, onion and water on medium heat for 1 hour. Add Allspice, Salt and Pepper to taste. Cool until set.

Mom (Nana) MacDougall said this recipe is from Ile Simmard. It was not in the infamous "recipe box" It was one she gave me.
Croton is a pate and is good with bread or crackers.
