first layer-
1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
1/2 cup light brown sugar
next layer-
2 eggs
1 stp flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cups walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
make first layer- cream butter ans sugar until smooth, add flour. pat in bottom of 8x8 baking dish. bake 350º for 10-12 minutes until brown. reset oven to 375º.
top layer- Beat eggs add sugar, vanilla flour, soda and salt only until combined. stir in nuts and spread mixture over the top of crust
Bake 30-40 minutes until light brown. cool. cut into squares.
