1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
16 oz. Hershey's chocolate syrup
1 c. + 1 T. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. nuts (optional)


Frosting:
6 tsp. butter
6 tsp. milk
3/4 c. chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, sugar and eggs. Then add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Grease and flour 9x13 pan. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes.

Frosting:
Melt butter, milk and chocolate chips together. Add powdered sugar and mix until you get the consistency you want. Spread over brownies.

These brownies were always my favorite, and my Grandma always baked them in this silver metal baking pan that had a lid that slipped over the top. She gave me that very same baking pan before she passed away and I think of my Grandma every time I use it. It still has her name in marker on the top.
