3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
2/3 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 ripe bananas, mashed
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup (or more) semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars till fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Stir in banana. Stir together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to creamed mixture; beat well. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread in greased and floured 15 1/2 by 10 1/2 by 1 inch baking pan. Bake at 350º for 25 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
