Ingredients: 1 ½ cups of Judges 5:25
3 cups of Jeremiah 6:20
6 cups of Jeremiah 17:11
3 ½ cups of 1st Kings 4:22
2 tsp. of Amos 4:5
A pinch of Matthew 5:13
Several tsp. of 2nd Chronicles 9:9
1 cup of Genesis 24:17
1 tbsp. of 1st Samuel 14:25
2 cups of dried Nahum 3:12
2 cups of 1st Samuel 30:12
2 cups of silvered or chopped Numbers 17:8
Follow Solomon's advice, Proverbs 23:14

He asked water, & she gave him milk; she brought forth butter in a lordly dish
1 1/2 cups of butter
3 cups of sugar
6 eggs
3 1/2 cups flour
2 tbs of baking powder
2 tbs each of ground nutmeg, cloves, & cinnamon
A pinch of salt
1 cup of water
1tbsp of honey
2 cups of dried figs
2 cups of raisins
2 cups of slivered or chopped almonds

Directions:Cream together the butter and sugar.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift the flour; baking powder, salt & spices together.
Alternately add flour & water to the butter mixture. Add honey, figs, raisins and almonds. Mix well. Turn into well greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 mins. Let the cakes cool for 30mins in pans before turning them out onto a rack. This makes 2 loaves. Note: This is good cake to make when you have a few family members over, or maybe your Women’s Missionary Circle Friends, or some of your Jamison Church Sisters and Brothers.
