Mix together thoroughly:
½ cup margarine
½ cup Skippy peanut butter
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup sugar
1 egg.

Sift together and stir in:
1 ¼ cups flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
¾ teaspoon soda
¼ teaspoon salt.

Directions:
Directions:
Roll into balls size of small walnuts. Place 3 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork dipped in flour, criss-cross.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes in quick moderate oven, preheated to 375°F until set but not hard.

Makes 4 dozen cookies.
Dough may be chilled for easier handling.
