3 1/2 cups sifted all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup soft butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1 unbeaten egg
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla or nutmeg
1/2 cup thick sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together, flour, soda and salt. Combine in large mixmaster bowl sugar, egg and flavoring. Beat for 2 minutes, stop mixer, add sour cream and then flour mixture, gradually while beating. Set oven at 400°F. Roll out 1/4 inch. Cut out with cutter. Place in greased pan. Bake until golden brown.
