1 1/3 cup shortening
1 ½ cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 eggs
½ teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons milk
4 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cream: sugar, shortening, vanilla, milk, eggs. Sift in flour, baking powder, salt. Roll out and cut in shapes. Bake at 375°F 6 -8 minutes.

Frost and decorate when cool, if desired.
